Clark Adam Square (Funicular)
The Clark Adam square or also known as the Gate of Buda, offers you delightful sights: its roundabout embellished with colorful flowers is an iconic point of the city, where you’ll have wonderful views to the Danube and to the Chain Bridge.

The 350-meter-long famous Tunnel also starts here from the base of the Várhegy. You’ll also find the station of the Budavári Sikló - or funicular as you might call it - here, which takes you up to the Buda Castle in less than 2 minutes, while also providing you with a breathtaking view. Did you know that the two units of the funicular have names too? They are Margit and Gellért, named after two characteristic person of the Hungarian history.
