When arriving at Pest, the Hop On Hop Off bus stops at Nyugati Railway Station, which is the 19th stop of the sightseeing tour. Nyugati square is one of the busiest hotspots in the Hungarian capital; several subway, tram and bus passes through and stops here. Also numerous suburban and long-distance trains terminate in Nyugati Railway Station, that formerly was the starting point of the very first train in the country. The railway station is also an essential touristic spot, as trains to Liszt Ferenc International Airport also depart from here.
Since you are already here, you definitely should walk around the renewed Nyugati square to discover the local shops, restaurants and cafés here. Visiting the Westend City Center is also recommended. The biggest shopping center of the country is also a popular meeting point of the locals.
Your Hop On Hop Off Budapest tour will continue towards the Parliament and the Basilica, but you may also walk by foot to Parliament from here.
The nearest stop is also right here (19th stop), check out its location on our website, in the detailed map of our Hop On Hop Off buses!
